I like walking into ambiguity. Both of my major consulting projects started with a loose brief and no predefined scope. I scoped where digital could drive the most value, built practical solutions in Python, SQL, and Power BI, and made sure teams could own them after I left.

Machine Learning for National Infrastructure
Led the design, development, and rollout of a machine learning tool for a national infrastructure client. Worked cross-functionally with technical teams, operational staff, and senior leadership to embed it into day-to-day operations. Projected to deliver £2.5m in annual savings.

Local Government Digital Transformation
Led the data and digital workstream on a 4-month transformation programme, scoping my own role from a loose brief. Diagnosed a bloated reporting landscape and led a team designing a single source of truth for senior leadership budget decisions. Set up governance for AI pilots and built a simulation model in Python for care system resource planning.

My third-year paper derived the real time dilation seen in the movie Interstellar. My fourth-year dissertation explored string theory solutions to dark energy.

I've spent eight years tutoring maths and science to students aged 11 through to university level. Outside of work I'm usually running, bouldering, or keeping up with developments in maths and physics. I also enjoy building personal code projects and small online services.
